CGGC Signs Contract for Housing Construction Project in Indonesia

On May 26, CGGC and PT.PRIORITAS GADING INDONESIA signed the EPC contract for Double Great Residence Project in Jakarta, Capital of Indonesia, which marks a new breakthrough in the field of housing construction and further accelerates its deep cultivation of Indonesia market. Among the attendees were Vishnu, Vice Chairman of Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board, Li Guojian, General Manager of CGGC Three Gorges Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., and Hu Peng, Chief Economist of CGGC International.

Located in Tangerang, Banten Province, Indonesia, the Double Great Residence Project covers a floor area of about 30,000 square meters and a total building area of 440,000 square meters, and comprises about 10,300 sets of residence. The Project involves the civil construction, electrical installation and decoration of the main structure of 9 apartment buildings.

It is the first university-themed integrated teaching and dormitory apartment in Indonesia. In Indonesia, number of college students keeps growing as the higher educational attainment rate constantly improves. After completion, the Project will dramatically improve the living conditions and matching environment of local college students in Tangerang, and boost the development of local education.

On April 22, 2019, CGGC successfully won the Double Great Residence Project funded by international financial institutions through international public bidding thanks to its remarkable achievements, optimal technical schemes and competitive quotation. It is the first housing construction project of CGGC in Indonesia, which represents an extremely important milestone achieved by CGGC in practicing the “go global” strategy during the critical period of the professional transformation and upgrading of such construction enterprises as CGGC. In the future, CGGC will give full play to its advantages in construction and management of international projects and fully integrate advantageous resources in accordance with the cooperation philosophy of “fairness, honesty and win-win” to present more superior projects for the world.
