Lyu Zexiang Visits Angola for Market Survey

From May 20 to 23, Lyu Zexiang, General Manager of CGGC International and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, led a delegation to Angola for in-depth surveys on market development, management of projects under construction, etc. in a bid to accelerate the further expansion and high-quality sustainable development of Angolan market.

During the period, Lyu Zexiang accompanied Yu Gang, Standing Committee Member and Deputy General Manager of Energy China, and Xue Danfeng, Director of International Business Division, Energy China in attending the Meeting of Chinese Enterprises in Angola organized by SINOSURE, and briefed on CGGC’s businesses in Angola. In a speech, Song Shuguang, Chairman of SINOSURE, firstly extended the sincere gratitude to Chinese enterprises for their contributions in helping financial enterprises “go global”, promoting the bilateral economic cooperation and boosting the socio-economic development of Angola. He emphasized that efforts shall be made to further improve the awareness of party members, prepare deliberate plans before action, strengthen the risks prevention and control of financing projects, accelerate the contractual performance and improve the quality and safety management level under the context of the “Belt and Road Initiative”, thus better practicing the initiative. As he noted, SINOSURE will leverage more powerful financial support for Chinese enterprises in Angola to boost their market operation there.

Lyu Zexiang also accompanied them in visiting Carlos Santos, Secretary of State for the Ministry of Construction of Angola, João Dos Santos, Minister of the Ministry of veterans and former combatants of Angola, and Gong Tao, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Angola. Lyu Zexiang presided over the report meeting on market operation of CGGC in Angola and the special meeting on Caculo Cabaca Hydropower Project in Angola. On the meeting, he deeply analyzed the characteristics, opportunities and challenges of the Angolan regional market, sorted out the foreign public relations and performance of projects under construction, deployed work in next step, and further strengthened the confidence in achieving new breakthroughs in the Angolan regional market.
